Measure the height from the water edge or, if there is antifouling paint, to the top edge of the joint. To ensure a clean finish later, it makes sense to add about 5 cm to the height of some designs. This allows the film to be cut cleanly at the top and bottom edges after application. We have designed most of the designs so that they stop before the curve at the front of the bow of the boat. This makes it easier for you to apply the film. For designs that extend to the tip of the bow, you should add a total of 20 cm in length so that the film can be cut cleanly at the stern and bow of the boat.

For wet application, the adhesive surface of the film and the surface to be covered are sprayed with water. This prevents the film's adhesive from adhering to the surface, making it easier to apply and position the film without wrinkles. If you mix one or two drops of Pril into the water, the design film can even be moved around on the surface and only sticks once the water has been squeezed out with a squeegee. We recommend this option for inexperienced users. If you already have experience, or if you have to blow-dry the film into beads, we recommend the air duct film.
