Boat name sticker
With the help of our lettering configurator, you can now easily design and order your Boat name sticker online. The configurator offers you a large selection of colors and fonts for your boat name and you can determine the size of the lettering yourself. It is very easy to use and shows you the result immediately. Once you have placed your order with us, we will start producing your Boat name sticker. The individual letters are cut out of the digital printing film by a plotter. A transfer film is applied so that you can stick the Boat name sticker to your boat in one piece. This holds all the letters together and is simply removed again after application. What remains is your personalized Boat name sticker. This is weatherproof, UV-resistant and of course also suitable for boats that sail in salt water. If necessary, the film can be removed at any time without leaving any residue.
How to apply Boat name stickers correctly
Our film sticks to all smooth surfaces such as paint, gelcoat, glass or aluminum. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased beforehand. The film is completely opaque, so there is no need to worry about the substrate affecting the color of the Boat name sticker. Thanks to the air channels in the adhesive surface, the lettering can always be applied without bubbles as the air can escape through the channels under the film. The air channels close under pressure and over time, so there is no need to worry about water getting behind the film.
Fix the boat name with masking tape and measure straight.
Also attach an adhesive strip in the middle.
Cut the masking tape on the side and remove the lettering from the backing paper.
Cut through the backing paper with scissors and fold the lettering back again under slight tension.
Squeegee the boat name with even pressure.
Repeat the process for the other side and press the lettering down firmly again.
Finally, carefully remove the transfer foil.
What remains is your boat name sticker.

FAQ
No, so that you don't have to stick them all on individually, our lettering is provided with a transfer film. This is a transparent film that holds the individual letters together and is removed again once the lettering has been applied to the boat.
We only use high-quality films for our lettering, which are guaranteed by the manufacturer for at least 7 years. Digital prints are provided with a protective laminate to protect them from fading due to UV radiation.
For Boat lettering, we only use films that are also suitable for boats that sail in salt water. The films are splash-proof, but should not be applied below the waterline in salt water.
The film can be removed without leaving any residue even years later. If the film is difficult to remove after years, we recommend using a hot air gun. If adhesive residue remains, it can be removed with spirit or isopropanol.
