Universal films
These foils are plotted out towards the tip of the bow and are therefore somewhat easier to apply than a square foil.
the different foils
The different base materials and protective laminates can be combined with each other depending on requirements.
1. basic material
Print on white
This is the standard process for the production of design films.
Print on metallic
Printing on metallic foil gives the print a very special look.
2. protective laminate
Premium protective laminate
To protect the print from abrasion and weathering, it is given a protective laminate.
Ultra Protection laminate
This is a particularly robust protective laminate. Extreme protection against stone chips and scratches.
Laminate effect
The laminate contains small glitter particles that give the print a unique look.
The right film for boat wrapping
Not all films are the same. If you want to wrap a boat, you need to use the right material. Boat Wrapping involves extreme conditions that the film has to withstand. The film is exposed to cold and heat and must be able to withstand aggressive seawater. Thanks to our many years of experience in Boat Wrapping, we know exactly which material to use. This guarantees that you will enjoy your new boat wrap for a long time despite the extreme conditions. That's why we only use high-quality films for Boat Wrapping that we have already tested intensively and that have been specially approved by the manufacturer for this area of application.

FAQ
The cost of boat wrapping is as individual as the options available. Decisive factors are the size of the boat and the amount of film required for wrapping the boat. Another factor is the shape of the boat; here, too, there are different levels of difficulty, which affect the time required for wrapping. To give you a rough idea of the costs involved, let's take a 5 m long motorboat as an example. The price for a standard digital print film is around 400 to 800 euros, depending on the film and the height of the side of the boat. We also offer metallic films and rockfall protection films. Here the price of the film is approx. 1000-1500 euros, depending on the film and the height of the dropside. Depending on the amount of work involved, you can expect to pay between €500 and €800 for film wrapping on site, including sealing the edges. An individual design is available from as little as 90 euros, depending on the work involved.
Today's films are now so good that, apart from damage, you can expect them to last at least 7 years. Scratches and damage are annoying, but there is no need to worry about the film peeling off in these areas. The affected areas can be easily repaired with a piece of the film so that it is hardly noticeable afterwards.
Wrapping has several advantages over painting. One important factor is certainly the usually lower costs compared to painting. Furthermore, there are countless design options thanks to modern printing processes, whereas painting is usually very limited. Nowadays, films are even available with effects such as flip-flop or with structures such as carbon or leather. This makes them a good alternative not only for the exterior of the boat. Another advantage that should not be forgotten is that the film can be removed again without leaving any residue if necessary. This means you can easily change the look of the boat without the need for time-consuming sanding work. If the newly purchased boat is immediately covered with a film, this protects the underlying surface; if the film is removed again after a few years, the surface is as good as new, which significantly increases the value of the boat when it is resold. Painting aluminum boats is not easy and it often happens that the paint comes off (blooms) in certain places. This cannot happen with foiling and is clearly preferable.
With a little manual skill, you can also wrap your boat yourself. Our custom-fit films for fishing boats and the design films for motorboats are particularly suitable for this, as they have their own shape and usually only cover the rear 2/3 of the boat, where the boat is mostly straight. However, a full wrap with a square film can also be applied by a layman. The films are relatively thick and are therefore easier to handle. If you really want one of our designs or films, but the distance is too far and you don't have the confidence to apply the film yourself, you can also have the film applied by a film applicator on site.
We advise you to thoroughly remove the old stickers and adhesive residue before applying the new film. Our films are opaque and you can theoretically simply stick over existing stickers. However, you should bear in mind that the edges of the old stickers will be visible after the film has been applied.
Our films can be removed without leaving any residue if necessary. To do this, you should heat them up and carefully peel them off. Any remaining adhesive residue is best removed with a cloth and isopropanol.
Damage to the film is annoying, but it does not affect the durability of the rest of the film. We have the option of producing a kind of patch for the affected area so that damage can be easily repaired.
Basic cleaning can be carried out with a high-pressure cleaner and conventional car shampoo. However, the jet of the pressure washer should not be held too close to the film to avoid damaging it. If you have water stains on the film, a limescale cleaner for the bathroom has proven its worth. Dull spots and small scratches can be removed with car polish. It is important to polish by hand, as machine polishing generates heat and therefore runs the risk of damaging the film.
The answer is quite clear: yes, you can wrap a boat. There are even a variety of ways in which you can do this. You can cover your boat with a single-color film or even a design film that gives your boat a unique look. Today's films are so good that they can easily withstand UV radiation and seawater, making them a generally more cost-effective alternative to painting. With a little manual skill, you can even wrap your boat yourself. Conclusion: Foiling is a great alternative to painting and offers a wide range of options for enhancing the appearance of your boat at an attractive price.
This is how boat wrapping works
As described above, we first agree on the design for the boat wrapping in a personal meeting. This forms the basis for the design. For the design and to estimate the costs, we need the dimensions of the side of the boat and a side view of the front of your boat. We also require a deposit of 75 euros from you for the creation of the design. This amount will be offset against the total costs at the end when the order is placed. If we agree on the design for your boat and you like our design, changes are of course no problem in the design phase, we can start with the production of the foils. You can then have us send you the foils to wrap your boat yourself, or you can come to us in Kassel and we will wrap your boat for you. The boat film is paid in advance and the remaining amount after we have wrapped your boat. Payment for the film can be processed conveniently and securely via our online store.

Fishing boat wrapping
In addition to general boat wrapping, we are also very well known for our fishing boat wrapping. Many fishing brands, well-known influencers and private customers have received their fishing boat wrapping from us and have been very satisfied and enthusiastic for years. Wrapping your fishing boat is all the rage at the moment. We create individual designs especially for anglers. High-resolution photos and detailed graphics of pike, zander, perch, carp and catfish give your fishing boat that special WOW effect. We have many fishing boat shapes and can therefore cut the films to fit your fishing boat. This means that fishing boat wrapping is easy to implement even for a hirer. If you often damage the side of your boat with fishing lures, a rockfall protection film would be very interesting for you. This can also be applied directly to the fishing boat design film over the original fishing boat paintwork.
